10 Aug “GOING WITH THE FLOW”, sometimes qualify as a Project Management methodology.
External factors such as economy, health, digital transformation to mention a few, are impacting projects baselines daily, that is the reason why a resilient mindset is critical to projects nowadays.
The need to GO WITH THE FLOW is our new reality and only resilient Project Managers will succeed.
For us Resilience in Project Management means that:
- The level of trust between the Project Sponsor and the Project Manager is high.
- There is a project plan with an adequate approach and is communicated to the stakeholders.
- The risk plan is authorized, communicated and more important, the contingency is considered in the Budget and in the schedule.
- Project Changes are identified, quantified and the impact is considered in the budget control and Schedule tracking.
- The Project has a competent team to manage it, the more competent and experienced, the more chance they can manage risks and take the project back on track.
To go with the flow, you need to be resilient first.
